Their approach is centered around partnering with healthcare professionals who choose to invest in the group and dedicate part of their practice to working at the facilities they help support.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for supporting and executing the commercial strategy and tactical plans to expand the number of surgical day case units within the United Kingdom. This position is predominantly field-based, with duties including the identification, engagement, and partnership creation with clinicians across various specialties. The role involves developing business plans that align clinical activity with revenue and investment, ultimately forming Doctor Group Partnerships to establish new day case units.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed annual targets (sales and activities) within the assigned territory and across the broader UK market.
- Identify and evaluate new development opportunities and market trends; present findings to leadership for support and commitment.
- Execute strategic plans to achieve targets and expand the customer base within the UK.
- Forecast and develop annual activity quotas for regions and territories.
- Partner with business performance teams to activate and grow new centre activity and development.
- Work collaboratively to expand existing centres through new clinicians and specialties.
- Manage the internal CRM system to track opportunities, pipeline, and revenue generation.
- Effectively communicate the organization\’s value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain clinician networks across active and future regions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance sales execution and customer engagement.
- Provide regular updates on development activities to the broader team.
- Assist in developing, standardizing, and managing sales materials.
- Support promotional programs to maximize the impact of new day case units.
- Contribute to commercial, marketing, and referral engagement activities to grow revenue-generating clinical activity.
