Position: Full-Time – 50+ Hours (Monday to Friday)
We are seeking a professional and experienced Low Loader / Heavy Plant HGV Driver to join our small, dedicated team based in Harworth, Doncaster (DN11 8DB). This is a permanent, full-time position, working 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at time and a half after 50 hours. The role includes 1–3 overnight stays per week. £16 per hour. £30 night out allowance.
Successful applicants will initially operate a 44-tonne vehicle, with opportunities to progress within the company. HIAB operator experience is preferred, though not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Heavy haulage transportation of plant and machinery
- Trailer swaps
- Loading and unloading plant and machinery ready for transportation
- Completing all pre-use and end-of-shift vehicle checks in accordance with legislation
- Maintaining accurate records using digital tachograph systems
- Complying with Working Time Directive requirements
- Demonstrating strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism
- Providing excellent customer service with strong communication skills
- Representing the company in a professional and reliable manner at all times
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven experience in heavy haulage
- HIAB operator experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of transport legislation and safety standards
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
