This is a hands-on billing role and candidates must be able to demonstrate solid, practical billing experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end billing process, including preparation, dispatch and follow-up of invoices
- Working closely with partners and fee earners to ensure timely and accurate bill production
- Managing WIP and unbilled time, proactively chasing and resolving billing queries
- Overseeing revenue collection and monitoring aged debt
- Producing regular revenue and billing reports for senior stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, write-offs and credit notes
- Supporting cash collection activity and liaising with clients on billing matters
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting wider finance team initiatives
