Senior HR Advisor – 12 Month FTC

An international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join its London HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in the firm’s modern Liverpool Street office, this role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative HR function supporting key business services teams.
The Senior HR Advisor will play an integral role within the London HR advisory team, providing high-quality generalist HR support across a range of business functions. The position has a particular focus on supporting the London secretarial team, working closely with the Secretarial Services Manager to ensure the effective management of people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advisory support across London business services functions
- Act as a key HR contact for the London secretarial team
- Partner with the Secretarial Services Manager to manage employee relations matters and day-to-day HR issues
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development and offboarding
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Support HR projects and contribute to wider HR initiatives within the London office
About You
- Proven experience working in a generalist HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role
- Experience managing employee relations matters and providing pragmatic HR advice
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous
