A leading US law firm with a strong City presence is looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead their finance function in London.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Leading and developing the London finance team, working closely with the firm's global finance leadership
Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management for the London office
Managing billing, revenue recognition and WIP across the practice
Partnering with practice group leaders and equity partners on financial strategy and performance
Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and other relevant regulatory requirements
Overseeing month end and year end processes, audits and statutory reporting
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant finance leadership experience within a law firm or professional services environment
Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal sector billing practices
Proven ability to influence and build relationships with partners and senior stakeholders
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a finance team
International OR US Law firm experience is required.
