WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leading and developing the London finance team, working closely with the firm's global finance leadership
- Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management for the London office
- Managing billing, revenue recognition and WIP across the practice
- Partnering with practice group leaders and equity partners on financial strategy and performance
- Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Overseeing month end and year end processes, audits and statutory reporting
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Significant finance leadership experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal sector billing practices
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with partners and senior stakeholders
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a finance team
