I am working with a highly regarded law firm to recruit an experienced HR Manager to join their London office, based close to Fenchurch Street. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is ideally within a legal or professional services environment, and who enjoys working with a mixed client group of fee earners and business services professionals.

The Role

  • Reporting into senior HR leadership, the HR Manager will be responsible for delivering a pragmatic, high-quality HR service across the firm.
  • Acting as a trusted HR advisor to partners, fee earners and business services leaders.
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including ER matters, performance management and policy guidance.
  • Supporting engagement, development and retention initiatives.
  • Leading HR projects and contributing to people strategy.
  • Managing and developing junior HR team members (where applicable).
  • Ensuring HR processes are compliant and aligned with best practice.

About You

  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders, including partners.
  • Experience supporting both fee-earning and business services populations.
  • Commercial, solutions-focused and pragmatic approach.
