The role

Starting in September, we have the opportunity for someone to join the SEND department as a Teaching Assistant specialising in delivering phonics teaching and early reading interventions.

This is a fixed term contract to 30th June 2027 or on the return of the post holder.

You will provide support for individual and groups of students following the school’s chosen phonics programme (Read Write Inc Phonics).

This will include monitoring pupil engagement and progress and adapting activities to meet the needs of pupils with SEND, EAL or those requiring additional support.
