Clyst Vale is a thriving and vibrant 11-16 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. The role involves seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Technology Technician to support our busy and successful Design & Technology department. This position is being advertised as a Grade B position and would be ideal for someone who may be looking at a career in teaching and wants to gain first-hand experience of working in a school.

This is a hands-on role where you will help prepare ingredients, equipment, and classrooms to ensure practical food lessons run smoothly. Working under the direction of teaching staff, you will play an important part in supporting student learning and maintaining a safe, organised environment.

Possession of a current Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate and experience in food preparation and hygiene would be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be given.
