Teacher of Maths with potential for Head of Year

Are you a passionate andambitious Mathematics teacher looking to inspire young people and make alasting difference to their educational journey?

Clyst Vale prides itself on its Maths offerfrom year 7 to 11 and starting in January 2027, we are looking to appoint anexciting and innovative Teacher of Maths. This post is offered on a full time,permanent basis. Thesuccessful candidate will be able to teach across key KS3 & KS4 and isoffered on the Main and Upper teacher’ pay scale.

Forthe right candidate, there is also the opportunity to undertake an additionalleadership role as Head of Year, providing pastoral leadership and supportingthe wellbeing, attendance and personal development of a year group.

We are looking for

• An outstanding teacher with excellent subjectknowledge;
• A practitioner who is keen to enthuse studentsusing a variety of approaches;
• Experience of teaching Maths at GCSE isdesirable;
• A willingness to contribute to the enrichmentactivities of the Department;
• Any other reasonable tasks at the discretionof the Head of Department/Deputy Principal
