Teacher of Food

Startingin January, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and highlymotivated Teacher of Food and Nutrition to join our successful and supportive Design& Technology Department. This is a permanent position, offered at 0.6-1FTE,providing an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to inspirestudents and contribute to the continued development of our Food and Nutrition curriculum.

Thesuccessful candidate will be passionate about Food and Nutrition, committed todelivering high-quality teaching and learning, and able to engage students ofall abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience of teaching FoodPreparation and Nutrition at GCSE level would be advantageous.

Forthe right candidate, there is the potential to take on the additional role of FoodLead, which attracts a TLR2a payment.

Thisposition is offered on the main teacher's pay scale MPS 1-6.

We are looking for

• An outstanding teacher with excellent subjectknowledge;
• A practitioner who is keen to enthuse studentsusing a variety of approaches;
• Experience of teaching Food and Nutrition atGCSE is highly desirable;
• A willingness to contribute to the enrichmentactivities of the Department;
• Any other reasonable tasks at the discretionof the Head of Department/Deputy Principal
