Clydeside Domestics is looking for a dependable
Home Care & Cleaning Assistant to help maintain clean, comfortable homes for local clients.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys practical household work but also understands the importance of being friendly, respectful and considerate when working in someone else's home.
Some of our clients are older adults, so patience and a caring manner are important.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain clients’ homes.
- Vacuum, dust and mop.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms and other living areas.
- Change bedding and make beds.
- Complete laundry and household cleaning tasks.
- Sanitise surfaces.
- Carry out deeper cleaning when needed.
- Follow clients’ household preferences and routines.
- Communicate politely and professionally with clients.
- Respect clients’ privacy, belongings and homes.
This is a cleaning and household-support role, not a personal care or nursing position.
What We’re Looking For
- Full driving licence and your own car - essential.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Friendly, patient and respectful manner.
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Comfortable with physical cleaning work.
- Trustworthy and responsible.
- Good attention to detail.
- Cleaning experience is useful, but training is available.
