Overview: Junior Associate / Associate (0–2 PQE) – Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Regulatory in Manchester. This is a Solicitor role (NQ–2 years PQE) working with a specialist SHE Regulatory team in Manchester at a top 20 international law firm with a highly regarded SHE practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Join a collaborative SHE Regulatory team of 16 fee earners.
  • Work on a highly varied and often high-profile caseload, including caseloads from initial investigation through to court proceedings.
  • Represent in matters such as corporate manslaughter, health & safety prosecutions, environmental crime, fire safety and food safety matters, and motor prosecutions.
  • Represent at Coroners’ Court where applicable.
  • Advise corporate and insurer-backed clients nationwide and gain exposure to complex and impactful matters.

What We’re Looking For / Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years PQE (guideline) with experience or strong interest in Health & Safety, Environmental crime, Motor crime, Fire safety.
  • A bright, ambitious, proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills; genuine interest in complex legal issues and regulatory crime; commitment to high-quality client service.

Travel: Willingness to travel across England & Wales.
