- Strong grounding in upstream oil and gas transactions gained in private practice or in‑house.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a range of core upstream agreements, including:
- Concession agreements
- Production sharing contracts (PSCs)
- EPCCs
- EPSAs
- Royalty regimes and risk‑based service contracts
- Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs)
- Farm‑in / farm‑out agreements
- Unitisation agreements
- Lifting agreements and gas sales agreements
- Crude oil and gas transportation agreements
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a key support to partners on complex upstream transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Take a lead role in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
- Manage discrete workstreams with increasing autonomy.
