Clyde Munro is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Roving Dentist to join our established network across Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to combine flexibility and variety with the security of a salaried role, supporting our practices while delivering continuity of care to loyal patient bases.
About the Role
This position is specifically designed as a caretaker role, supporting our associate dentists during periods of maternity leave or long-term absence. You will not be covering vacant positions; instead, you will inherit a well-maintained, up-to-date patient list within an established and supportive team. Each placement (or “rotation”) typically lasts 6-9 months, during which time you will be based in a single practice. This allows you to build rapport with patients and colleagues, while providing reassurance and continuity during your colleague’s absence. At the end of each rotation a new placement will be arranged—giving you variety without uncertainty. Patients you’ll be caring for are loyal, engaged, and appreciative, understanding that you are supporting their practice while their usual dentist is away. This creates a rewarding clinical environment where your contribution is genuinely valued.
Location
With 65 practices across Scotland, this role offers a broad range of locations. While placements may be nationwide, the majority are in Central, East, and West Scotland, and we aim to plan rotations with practicality in mind.
