We are delighted to be recruiting for a Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at Art of Dentistry in Prestwick. This role can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis, with working hours open to discussion for the right candidate, offering flexibility to suit individual circumstances.
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Prestwick which is known for its relaxed seaside atmosphere, independent cafés and strong community feel, Art of Dentistry has established itself as one of Scotland's leading private dental practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental nurse looking to work within a modern, high-end clinical environment, supporting advanced treatments and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Our practice is at the forefront of cutting-edge cosmetic and restorative dentistry, offering services including teeth straightening, dental makeovers, veneers, facial rejuvenation and tooth whitening. Joining our team means becoming part of a progressive, patient-focused practice where quality, professionalism and continual development are at the heart of what we do.
This is a varied and rewarding role combining chairside dental nursing with treatment coordinator and reception duties:
- Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
- Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation.
- Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges.
An interest in Sedation and Implant Dentistry is welcomed with training available for the right candidate. Must have experience working in Private / NHS practices.
