Responsibilities
  • Provide chair side support during all day‑to‑day activities within the practice and surgeries.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.
  • Create a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset.
  • Maximise the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Set up the surgery appropriately for each session to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
  • Anticipate the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place.
  • Monitor surgery stocks to maintain appropriate levels.
  • Undertake reception duties when required, including answering the telephone, making appointments, and collecting patient charges.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • GDC registered.
  • Experience working in private or NHS practices.
  • Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills.
