Join our Team! We are recruiting for a Head of Region role for East/Central Scotland, covering dental practices based in Perth, Edinburgh and surrounding areas and also Orkney. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience within the dental industry. We are flexible about where the successful candidate will be based.

Your Role

This role will be to deliver the operational agenda and drive the business to achieve the highest level of patient care and service. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, performance and profitability and building the reputation of the local practice brands in their communities in line with Clyde Munro Company strategy, goals and values.

Other duties include:

  • Working with Practice Managers and their respective teams to identify opportunities to develop the patient experience and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring the effective communication and management of patient care standards across the Company including clinical teams and employees
  • Monitoring new developments in providing excellent patient care and implement initiatives to improve the patient experience where practicable
  • Overseeing practice inspections and associated documentation
  • Monitoring practice profitability and surgery utilisation
  • Monitoring performance against KPIs relating to the practices and region
  • Ensuring that all practices adhere to H&S, Cross Infection and Decontamination compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity
  • Driving consistency and continuity across the business in the adoption of company standards

About You

  • Relevant experience in a similar role is preferable
  • Experience working in a multi-site role is preferable
  • Experience working in a people management role is essential
  • Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
  • Demonstrable skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel) would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and driving positive change within a business
