We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our friendly and well-established team at Portobello Dental Practice on a maternity cover basis from November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to a loyal and growing patient base in a modern, recently refurbished practice. Located in the lovely Portobello area of Edinburgh, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, with a bus stop directly outside and ample parking nearby.
About the Practice
- Mixed NHS / Private practice with very high private uptake
- Substantial list of private plan patients
- Four well-equipped surgeries delivering comprehensive NHS and private care in a friendly, vibrant setting
- Currently placing and restoring implants and introducing SureSmile treatment, with digital scanning available
- Excellent opportunity to further develop and expand private treatments
- Supported by an experienced and knowledgeable nursing team across all aspects of dental care
- Easily accessible from the city centre and close to Goldenacre, Trinity and Inverleith
- Nearby, you’ll find Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and Inverleith Park within walking distance, along with a variety of local shops, cafés and amenities
Contract Details
- 50/50 split on a fixed-term contract
