Join our Team! We are excited to be looking for a part-time Dental Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team at our Dollar practice! We are open to Trainee applications. The days of work for this position will be Monday - Thursday. Since 1985, Dollar Dental Care & Implant Centre has been a reliable source of top-tier family dentistry services. We are a great team and pride ourselves on our warm, caring environment. Our unwavering commitment revolves around delivering the utmost standards of dental well-being and ease within a vibrant and welcoming ambience. We offer a range of services that span general dentistry care, comprising dental examinations and hygiene sessions, as well as cosmetic dentistry remedies like teeth whitening.
Your Role
- You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries.
- You will also be required to provide reception cover when necessary.
- You will play an important role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.
- Developed and progression are encouraged.
- Use of Exact (SOE) beneficial but not essential, training will be provided.
- Other duties include:
- Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset.
- Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
- Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation.
- Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place.
- Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges.
About You
- GDC registered (if qualified).
- Experience working in Private / NHS practices (if qualified).
- Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care.
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills.
