Dentist – Maternity Leave Cover New Cross Dental Care, Hamilton Start Date: January 2027 Duration: Approximately 12 months Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Working Days: Flexible and open to discussion Patient List: Existing NHS patient list The Opportunity New Cross Dental Care in Hamilton is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking dentist to join our friendly team on a 12-month maternity leave cover starting in January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist to take over an established NHS patient list within a small, welcoming and family-friendly practice. We are happy to discuss working days and can offer flexibility around your availability. The practice is well stocked and equipped with modern technology and facilities, including: Digital intraoral scanner Rotary endodontic equipment Digital X-ray facilities Access to a dental therapist Well-stocked surgeries and clinical materials Experienced, qualified and reliable support staff You will be joining a hard-working team who are committed to supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth running of the practice. The Role The successful dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive NHS dental care to an existing patient list, maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring a positive patient experience. We are looking for someone who is: GDC registered and fully compliant with the requirements to practice in the UK Experienced in providing NHS dental care Reliable, conscientious and hardworking Committed to delivering high-quality patient care A good communicator with patients and colleagues Comfortable working as part of a small, supportive team We welcome applications from dentists who are looking for a temporary maternity cover position and would be happy to discuss the role, available days and working arrangements on an individual basis. Location New Cross Dental Care is conveniently located in Hamilton, with the practice being approximately 5 minutes from the train station , making it easily accessible for both local and commuting dentists.
