We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our friendly and well-established team at Portobello Dental Practice on a maternity cover basis from November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to a loyal and growing patient base in a modern, recently refurbished practice.
Located in the lovely Portobello area of Edinburgh, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, with a bus stop directly outside and ample parking nearby.
About the Practice- Mixed NHS / Private practice with very high private uptake
- Substantial list of private plan patients
- Four well-equipped surgeries delivering comprehensive NHS and private care in a friendly, vibrant setting
- Currently placing and restoring implants and introducing SureSmile treatment, with digital scanning available
- Excellent opportunity to further develop and expand private treatments
- Supported by an experienced and knowledgeable nursing team across all aspects of dental care
The practice is easily accessible from the city centre and close to Goldenacre, Trinity and Inverleith. Nearby, you’ll find Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and Inverleith Park within walking distance, along with a variety of local shops, cafés and amenities.
Contract Details- 50/50 split on a fixed-term contract
