Oban Dental Care is in the picturesque, seaside town of Oban, in Argyll and Bute. We are seeking an Associate Dentist to join our busy team. We already have four dentists and a therapist, but we are looking to expand our team to meet patient demand. This opportunity can be flexible to the needs of the candidate, but there is an existing list available for transfer and plenty of scope to grow this.
We are a mixed NHS and private practice with a friendly, supportive team environment. This dental practice offers:
- NHS & Private general dentistry
- Cosmetic dentistry
- Sure Smile aligner treatments
- Implants
- Endodontics (dentist with MSc happy to take referrals)
- Rotary endo as standard
- Digital radiography including OPG
- On-site CAD/CAM: two scanners and mill and furnace
- EMS GBT hygiene system
- SOE Exact and Clinipads to keep admin running smoothly
There is full clinical freedom over your diary and choice of materials to allow you to deliver high-quality dental care. Treatment coordinators and a Childsmile nurse for enhanced prevention are available, along with reception staff to ensure diaries are well-utilised. We have an active social media presence and help with marketing your services.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone committed to a high level of clinical care
- A passion for continuous professional development
- Experience in General & Private dentistry although we can support someone who is new out of VT or similar
- If you have an interest in Facial Aesthetics or any other special interests you would like to develop, this would be an asset to our team, but is not essential
- Experience with Software of Excellence (SOE) practice software is preferable but training will be provided
- GDC registration and VT number are required
- Full or part-time hours considered
