Join our Team! We are excited to be looking for a full time Dental Nurse to join our team at 121 Dental Centre in Arbroath. We will also accept trainee applications.

121 Dental Centre is a professional dental service for you and your family providing excellent care to the residents of Arbroath since 1935. Our dental practice is conveniently located on High Street, right in the heart of the town near plenty of parking spaces and transport links for easy access.

We are happy to provide a comprehensive treatment list of general dentistry including fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges and hygienist appointments, as well as offering private and cosmetic treatments such as tooth whitening, veneers and implants. In addition, we also offer a range of facial aesthetic treatments.

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries.
  • You will also be required to provide reception cover when necessary.
  • You will play an important role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.
  • Developed and progression are encouraged.
  • Use of Exact (SOE) beneficial but not essential, training will be provided.
  • Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset.
  • Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
  • Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation.
  • Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place.
  • Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges.

About You

  • Qualified candidates must be GDC registered.
  • Must have experience working in Private / NHS practices.
  • Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care.
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills.
