We’re looking for a Visual Files Developer to join our IT team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting the systems that keep our business running. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful projects, improve core functionality, and help shape the technology landscape of the firm.
The Role
As a Visual Files Developer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and maintaining IT systems and environments.
- Delivering new functionality to support business needs.
- Ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Investigating and resolving complex technical issues.
- Participating in IT projects and acting as a subject matter expert in your field.
- Collaborating with vendors, partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer systems in line with change management processes.
- Develop and enhance existing systems; investigate and fix production issues.
- Create and maintain documentation, support guides, and run books.
- Provide accurate workload estimates for project planning.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and service improvement initiatives.
- Train and support colleagues and transition services effectively.
- Carry out deep-dive technical analysis and problem resolution.
- Share knowledge globally across IT teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong visual files development skills, with case management experience.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases (schemas, stored procedures, etc.).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft full stack, with an understanding of design patterns and coding best practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Knowledge of legal processes and terminology is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to own issues through to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and present ideas effectively.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and suggest improvements.
