Department: Enterprise Client Programme (Insurance Client Programme)

Location: London, UK – the role can be based anywhere in the UK but requires access to the London office when needed.

Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Marketing & Communications activity
  • Engagement management
  • Execute client‑development tactics, using analytics to identify and track leads
  • Ensure tactics align with global and regional objectives and analytics drive pursuits
  • Develop content, products and thought‑leadership tools; advise partners on their use
  • Support use of the Clyde & Co Sales Operating System to track and convert pursuits and leads
  • Research and intelligence to meet client team, practice and sector needs
  • Report ROI on tactics and activities for opportunity identification
  • Prepare partner pipeline review meetings
  • Conduct pipeline reviews with partner teams to understand opportunities and BD support required
  • Act as Client Relationship Manager on relevant accounts, driving growth across the programme
  • Facilitate partners’ engagement with enterprise account programmes
  • Use existing and new products to support partner engagement and sales
  • Represent deep knowledge of client accounts to senior leadership
  • Coordinate client teams and cross‑practice groups for development plans
  • Conduct regular relationship and matter reviews, implementing actions from meetings
  • Utilise sector/practice insights to influence value proposition and market perception
  • Oversee deliverables, quality and suitability for each client
  • Manage local and central resources; collaborate with other BD managers; expect some team management
  • Conform to global standards and continuously improve processes
  • Contribute accurate data to BD systems; use data for analysis and programme improvement
  • Ensure BD technology is used timely and effectively
  • Lead annual budget process for allocated enterprise clients and manage expenses to ensure ROI

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Substantial experience as a senior client development practitioner in a fast‑paced professional services environment
  • Experience setting and monitoring budgets
  • Senior‑level influence over clients and partner/lawyer groups
  • Strong organisational and multi‑priority management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Positive, tenacious, proactive driver of initiatives and motivation of resources inside and outside the team
