We are seeking a talented and ambitious Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor to join our highly regarded London team, working closely with Andrew Foster, Duncan Lockhart and the wider Insolvency & Restructuring team. The role offers exposure to a broad and sophisticated insolvency and restructuring practice, with a strong emphasis on complex contentious matters, insolvency litigation, investigations and asset recovery, alongside high‑value non‑contentious restructuring mandates. Much of the team’s work involves multi‑jurisdictional disputes and distressed transactions. You will advise at all stages of the distressed cycle, acting for office holders, financiers, corporates and other stakeholders on formal insolvency processes, cross‑border claims, fraud and recovery actions.
The Team Advises:
- Insolvency practitioners and office holders
- Banks, asset‑based and alternative lenders
- Private credit and equity
- Corporates, directors and creditors
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on contentious and non‑contentious restructuring and insolvency matters
- Acting on insolvency litigation, investigations, fraud and asset recovery claims
- Supporting on distressed transactions and cross‑border restructuring matters
- Managing international elements of matters and liaising with overseas counsel
- Building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives
Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with NQ–4 PQE experience
- Experience or strong interest in contentious insolvency or restructuring litigation
- Excellent technical and commercial skills
- A collaborative, proactive and resilient approach
