As a Paralegal within our Catastrophic Injury / Large Loss team, you will support our lawyers and partners in the day‑to‑day management of claims.
Responsibilities
- Assist with liability enquiries and investigations in a wide range of claims at pre‑litigation and litigated stages (motor, casualty, travel, aviation, marine).
- Handle recovery claims.
- Obtain and review medical records and expert reports.
- Draft witness statements and prepare instructions for experts and counsel.
- Prepare counsel and court bundles.
- Provide general administrative support.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support pre‑litigation work across travel, holiday, accidents abroad, aviation, and marine cases.
- Assist with pre‑litigation and litigated motor and employer’s/public liability (EL/PL) claims.
- Provide litigation assistance, including document management, procedural support, and coordination of case progression.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of the litigation process is useful but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
