Paralegal - Energy & Construction in Guildford

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our leading Energy & Construction team in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers on complex, high-value, and often international matters across the energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors.

You will play a key role in supporting fee earners on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work, gaining exposure to major projects and disputes across the industry.

• Assisting with the management of construction and engineering disputes, including arbitration, litigation, and adjudication
• Supporting transactional/project work, including drafting and reviewing documentation
• Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries and advice notes
• Managing documents, including disclosure exercises and bundling
• Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and internal stakeholders
• Supporting business development initiatives and knowledge management

• Prior paralegal experience, ideally within construction, projects, or commercial litigation (though strong transferable experience will be considered)
• Strong academic background (law degree or equivalent preferred)
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
