As a Paralegal within our Catastrophic Injury / Large Loss team, you will support our lawyers and partners in the day‑to‑day management of claims.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with liability enquiries and investigations in a wide range of claims at pre‑litigation and litigated stages (motor, casualty, travel, aviation, marine).
  • Handle recovery claims.
  • Obtain and review medical records and expert reports.
  • Draft witness statements and prepare instructions for experts and counsel.
  • Prepare counsel and court bundles.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support pre‑litigation work across travel, holiday, accidents abroad, aviation, and marine cases.
  • Assist with pre‑litigation and litigated motor and employer’s/public liability (EL/PL) claims.
  • Provide litigation assistance, including document management, procedural support, and coordination of case progression.

Qualifications

Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Knowledge of the litigation process is useful but not essential. Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
