The Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely generation and dispatch of client invoices, supporting our lawyers and partners across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Working Capital Manager, you’ll work closely with legal, tax, and credit control teams to resolve queries and maintain compliance with client requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare billing guides, draft bills, and finalise invoices in 3E in line with partner instructions and client specifications.
  • Submit invoices via eBilling platforms and ensure timely dispatch.
  • Verify matter data and liaise with legal teams to correct errors.
  • Act as a key contact for billing queries and collaborate with tax and credit control teams.
  • Support multi-jurisdictional billing and participate in billing review meetings with partners.
  • Maintain accurate records, run reports, and manage housekeeping tasks such as write-offs and file closures.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (accounting qualification desirable).
  • Experience with 3E or Elite Enterprise (or similar practice management systems).
  • Previous billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage at partner level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with flexibility and enthusiasm.
