We’re looking for a Relief Trainee Cook to join our team at Penrhos Polish Village, a unique and historic community on the Llŷn Peninsula. This is a great opportunity to build your skills in a supportive kitchen environment while making a real difference to people’s day‑to‑day lives. You’ll support the preparation and serving of meals, helping to create a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents. No two days are the same, but you’ll always be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high‑quality food and genuine care.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the preparation and serving of meals
  • Helping meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences (including allergies and specialist diets)
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised
  • Assisting with stock rotation and food storage
  • Working closely with colleagues to create a positive dining experience
  • Supporting residents during mealtimes where needed

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, approachable, and willing to learn.

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Desirable:

  • Previous catering or kitchen experience
