Day Care Practitioner Location: Ruthin Hours: 33 hours a week Type: Permanent Salary: £12.33 per hour Here at ClwydAlyn, we are looking to recruit Day Care Practitioners to join our Care Home team at Llys Marchan. What the Role Involves Actively support the day-to-day delivery of care and ensure the provision of good quality, safe, supported accommodation, empowering vulnerable people with mental health challenges to live as independently as possible. Be part of a team and work with care practitioners and other staff in ensuring that all residents\’ individual care plans are regularly maintained to a high standard, as required by our regulatory body. Effectively support residents and complete care duties, being competent in care delivery completion and care planning via the use of IT systems. Flexibility to work unsocial hours and weekends is essential, where required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible working approach, have a positive and proactive personality, and be able to overcome challenges and difficult situations whilst achieving positive outcomes. Skills and Qualifications Required for the Role Minimum NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification. Registration with Social Care Wales once completed. Effective communication skills (written & oral) are essential. Use of computers and technology to input information and access care planningtraining and support will be provided. The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
