We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Valuer to join our Manchester team, with flexible working options. You will be reporting directly to our Valuation Partner, and you will play a key role in expanding our regional valuation business. You'll provide valuation advice across a broad spectrum of investment property types, supporting clients such as consultants, private individuals, public sector bodies, and financial institutions. While the majority of work will be for loan security purposes, you'll also contribute to valuations for acquisitions, tax, expert reports, and other bespoke needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the regional commercial valuation offering
- Deliver high-quality valuation reports and presentations
- Build and manage your own client relationships
- Handle multiple instructions efficiently and effectively
- Reach well-supported, justifiable valuation conclusions
- Achieve fee income targets aligned with the role
Requirements
- MRICS or FRICS qualified
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Experience in valuing commercial investment and mixed-use properties
- Full UK driving licence
- Extensive experience in commercial property valuation, ideally within the North West
- Proven ability to value a diverse range of commercial assets across sectors
- Strong client-facing skills with a track record of positive feedback
- Proficiency in valuation software such as Argus Developer, Argus Capitalisation, KEL, and Valos
- Familiarity with smart processes and technology to drive performance
- Established market presence and professional network
- Demonstrated success in generating new business
- Full understanding of RICS Valuation - Professional Standards and UK GAAP/IFRS reporting
