Working closely with our Oxford office, you will be involved in the delivery of both construction and infrastructure projects.

As a Project Manager at Cluttons, you will provide professional consulting advice across project lifecycle stages — from inception through to completion — covering project setup, management, reporting, and contract administration under both NEC and JCT contracts. • Real opportunity to be given responsibility to run your own projects and discrete bits of larger projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery & Management: Lead and support the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Prepare project programmes, feasibility studies, strategic briefs and business cases. Manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality to ensure successful project outcomes. Coordinate design teams, external consultants, contractors and client stakeholders. Oversee project risk management, identifying issues and delivering effective mitigation strategies. Produce regular project reports, updates and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Act as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent on projects using NEC and JCT contracts. Prepare and issue contract documentation, instructions, certificates and notices. Manage procurement processes including tender documentation, evaluations and recommendations. Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality and compliance.
  • Client Engagement & Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Lead and chair project meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective decision‐making. Support clients with change management, staff engagement and consultation activities where required.
  • Team Contribution & Professional Development: Collaborate effectively as part of the Cluttons Project Management team. Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and best practice development. Take responsibility for personal professional development, working closely with the Partner mentor.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Project Management or construction‐related degree/qualification
  • Experience delivering construction projects within a professional consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of contracts and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in leading meetings
  • Flexible approach with the ability to work across varied sectors
  • A strong drive and determination to succeed
  • Professional, confident, approachable and organised
  • Problem‐solving capability with the ability to resolve issues proactively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Benefits:
