We are seeking a proactive and driven Management Accountant to join our small but high-performing finance team. This role will work closely with the finance manager and the service line leads, providing high-quality financial insight, reporting and influencing performance to forecasted targets. You will play a key role in business partnering with fee earners, as well as a collaborative approach within the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to take ownership and influence change.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for service line income and cost analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the production of monthly management accounts and commentary.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of variances.
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals.
