Why this role?
You'll be the crucial link between Snyk's cutting-edge product and our customers, both new and established. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll drive the technical adoption of Snyk's developer security platform, ensuring our customers successfully integrate security right from the start. You won’t just support sales – you’ll shape how customers experience and succeed with Snyk, influencing both product evolution and customer strategy. You’ll be the technical evangelist empowering development teams to stay secure as they build the digital future faster than ever. This role also includes a partner-focused element, where you’ll collaborate with and enable Snyk’s strategic partners – combining solution architecture, technical enablement, and joint go-to-market influence to scale Snyk’s reach across the ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the Technical Expert: Deeply understand and articulate Snyk’s value across developer and security audiences.
- Drive the Sale: Lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements that convert curiosity into adoption.
- Consult and Educate: Champion secure development practices and coach teams on embedding security into their workflows.
- Shape the Product: Partner with Product and Engineering to share insights from the field and influence roadmap direction.
- Enable Partners: Collaborate with channel partners to build technical enablement, joint value propositions, and integrations.
- Drive Partner Success: Act as a technical advisor and trainer for key channel and technology partners, helping them design, position, and deliver Snyk solutions as part of joint go-to-market initiatives.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, software development, or security-related roles.
- Strong understanding of developer and DevOps ecosystems and practices.
- Familiarity with a wide range of coding languages and development workflows.
- Proven success working with highly technical, enterprise-level customers in the local market.
- The drive to plan, set milestones, communicate proactively, and align stakeholders to deliver results.
- Experience engaging with or enabling channel or technology partners – especially where you’ve combined solution architecture and technical enablement with strategic influence.
