As a Principal Cato Technical Project Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our customers to help them through their SASE transformation journey. You will provide project planning and technical guidance, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure Cato SASE solution's smooth and successful implementation.

Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent cross‑functional and global customer projects, each with multiple deployment work streams including Cato services, Internet Service Providers circuits, deployment partners/field services, etc.
- Serve as a team lead with supervisory responsibility for other technical project managers, providing direction, prioritization, performance guidance, and support to ensure high‑quality delivery across engagements.
- Develop and maintain project management work products and deliverables (schedules, milestones, dependencies, etc.), manage action items, track and escalate project risks and issues, and perform project communications (meetings, status updates, etc.).
- Able to operate day‑to‑day with minimal oversight and function as a point of team escalation for other projects to provide guidance on and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
- Facilitate onboarding of new team members to ensure accelerated time to productive utilization and provide ongoing mentorship to continue career development.
- Own and perform reporting of status for project portfolio to senior management within the company.
- Own and maintain time and materials burn rate and forecast reports. Communicate these effectively with the customer throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Determine and define roles and responsibilities for customers staff members required for enterprise customer deployments.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering and wider Professional Services teams, ensuring successful execution of the project that includes project scoping & planning, conducting technical customer reviews and timely completion of project deliverables.
- Collaborate with Customer Success leadership to continually improve practices and processes resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working with Cato Networks SASE solution, including managing complex projects for multiple customers simultaneously.
- 10+ years of experience managing technical, cross‑functional, global deployment projects.
- Excellent understanding and practice of project management processes, strategies, and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with proven ability to communicate complex technical scenarios to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
- Experience in managing and reporting budget burn rate and consumption forecast.
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision‑making and supervising department teams.
- Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure technology is required (routing, switching, firewall, etc.).
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS or subscription‑based business models is a plus.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry, telecom service procurement and deployment process are a plus.
- Experience working in a high‑level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
- Experience applying analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to foresee challenges and seek to proactively mitigate obstacles.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Proficient with Salesforce, Certinia (FinancialForce), and project management tools is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, and other relevant professional certifications is a plus.
- Solid command of the English language (written and spoken) with additional language skills being a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for customer on‑site meetings and various company meetings.
