The Role
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing, EMEA to lead and scale Product Marketing across North, Central, and South EMEA. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for regional strategy, people leadership, and market impact.
You will own how Cato’s value is positioned, launched, and activated across the Americas. You will partner deeply with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, while building and leading a world-class PMM team.
Responsibilities
- Own Product Marketing Strategy for the Americas
- Define and execute the regional product marketing vision aligned to company strategy
- Serve as the senior Product Marketing voice for the Americas across leadership, product, and go-to-market teams
- Lead and Scale a High-Performance PMM Team
- Hire, mentor, and develop Product Marketing Managers across the region
- Set priorities, frameworks, and standards for messaging, launches, and enablement
- Drive Market-Leading Product Launches
- Own end-to-end launch strategy for major product and platform releases
- Ensure tight cross-functional alignment and flawless execution across Product, Sales, PR, Field Marketing, and Enablement
- Be the Ultimate Value Champion
- Ensure clear, differentiated messaging that articulates Cato’s business and technical value
- Oversee creation of presentations, narratives, and executive-level storytelling used across customers, partners, and analysts
- Shape Thought Leadership and Demand Creation
- Guide the development of high-impact content including blogs, white papers, eBooks, webinars, and executive POVs
- Ensure content connects technical innovation to real-world business outcomes
- Own Competitive and Market Intelligence
- Lead competitive strategy across EMEA, including battle cards, win-loss insights, and field-facing guidance
- Anticipate market shifts and influence roadmap and positioning decisions
- Be a Strategic Partner to Sales and the Field
- Partner closely with regional Sales and SE leadership
- Join strategic deals, executive briefings, analyst meetings, and customer conversations
- Ensure the field is armed with the tools, training, and confidence to win
- Influence Every Strategic Touchpoint
- Drive consistency and excellence across analyst briefings, customer case studies, events, sales enablement, SE training, and partner messaging
- Ensure Product Marketing fingerprints are on every major go-to-market initiative
Requirements
- Senior Product Marketing Leadership Experience
- 10+ years of Product Marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role
- Deep Security and Networking Expertise
- Strong background in cybersecurity and/or networking
- Experience from engineering, pre-sales, post-sales, or technical product marketing roles strongly preferred
- Executive-Level Storytelling and Strategy
- Proven ability to translate complex technology into compelling, high-impact narratives
- Comfortable presenting to executives, customers, analysts, and large audiences
- Data-Driven and Market-Informed
- Use insights, analytics, and market intelligence to guide messaging, launches, and strategic decisions
- Exceptional Cross-Functional Leader
