We’re building the world’s leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets - empowering families, fueling local economies, and changing how millions access financial services. Since our launch in 2019, we have transformed how money moves across borders with our operations spanning 6 out of 7 continents and covering both the busiest and most underserved (remittance) corridors. We tapped into a massive shift - from banks to phones - bringing digital finance to places where traditional systems never reached. The next stage of growth will fuel a network of services and products especially designed to make money more accessible to diaspora communities including local cards, and additional savings and payments features.
About the Role
Taptap Send is building a new institutional payments business. We move money across 80+ emerging market corridors and are now opening that infrastructure to institutional clients — crypto exchanges, fintechs, MTOs, and corporate treasury teams. This is an early commercial hire into that business.
The Role
- You'll own a pipeline of institutional partners from first contact through to live.
- You'll work closely with trading and ops to structure deals and get clients across the line quickly.
What You'll Do
- Source and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech, and payments.
- Manage the full BD cycle, outreach, qualification, commercial negotiation, onboarding handoff.
- Represent Taptap Send at industry events and build profile in target segments.
- Work with internal teams to translate client needs into product and corridor priorities.
- Maintain a clean pipeline and report directly to senior leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years in BD, partnerships, or sales within payments, crypto, or FX.
- An existing network across crypto exchanges, MTOs, or EM fintechs.
- Comfortable selling a technical product to sophisticated buyers, treasury teams, CFOs, heads of payments.
- Organised, self-directed, and happy working without a large support structure around you.
What We Offer
- Competitive base + performance-linked bonus.
- Direct line to senior leadership and real influence over commercial strategy.
- A fast-growing platform with genuine EM depth and strong banking infrastructure behind it.
