Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our Client's warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to handle materials efficiently and safely, supporting warehouse management and logistics operations. This role requires a focus on accuracy, safety, and mechanical aptitude to ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes.
Duties- Operate counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Assist with materials handling, ensuring items are moved safely and accurately
- Support shipping and receiving activities by organising incoming and outgoing stock
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve workflow
- Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairs
- Experience in materials handling, load & unload operations, and shipping & receiving processes
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation
