Duties

  • Assist with preparing detailed cost estimates for upcoming projects by gathering relevant data and analysing specifications.
  • Support the sales team in evaluating labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and proposals.
  • Conduct research on current market prices and industry standards to ensure competitive and accurate estimates after training.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather necessary information and ensure comprehensive estimations.
  • Maintain organised records of all estimation documents and correspondence.

Experience

  • Previous experience in construction, engineering, or related fields is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
