Deliveries within a 50 mile Radius
Site location: Fareham, UK
Job Purpose: To support the shipping & logistics team of an engineering firm with customer deliveries within a 50-mile radius, work closely with the purchasing team to collect local supplier products whilst supporting the production/stores team when there are no driving requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on time delivery to customers
- Ensure subcontract products are packed suitably
- Delivery & collect from local sub-contractors
- Support the production & stores team with subcontract paperwork
- General housekeeping duties
- Review & maintain the upkeep of both company vans
Qualifications & Experience:
- Good communication & teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with accuracy within a time frame
- Forklift experience would be an advantage but not required
