We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator to join our Client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires an operating understanding of mechanical processes, tooling, and CAD/CAM software, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical engineering or manufacturing to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of CNC milling machines to produce complex parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files, utilising SolidWorks and other CAD software as needed (desirable).
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring precision and safety standards are met.
- Conduct grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as required to complete components.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for minor adjustments or repairs during production.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations related to machining processes.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
Experience:
- Proven experience in CNC milling operations or related manufacturing roles.
