We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator to join our Client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components (Fanuc). The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in engineering or manufacturing to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of CNC milling machines to produce complex parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD files, utilising SolidWorks and other CAD software as needed (desirable).
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, ensuring precision and safety standards are met.
  • Conduct grinding, deburring, and assembly tasks as required to support the team.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools for minor adjustments or repairs during production.
  • Apply basic maths skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations related to machining processes.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in CNC milling operations or related manufacturing roles (Setting and Operating).
  • Experience of Mazak Controls useful but full training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and machine calibration.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret engineering specifications.
