I am recruiting for a small family business, who due to growth have a requirement for somebody who is organised, proactive, IT literate and confident, and looking for an opportunity where they will quickly become an integral team member. This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to become involved in all areas across the business, including general office administration, some basic accounts support and to provide logistics and fleet coordination.
Key Duties:
- Liaise with and coordinate daily delivery schedules with drivers and vehicles
- Update regularly with drivers, customers and suppliers
- Accurately and promptly produce all required transport documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming enquiries by phone and email
- Provide quotations to customers with new enquiries and follow up
- Support general internal administrative processes including some accounts work
