Centre Manager – Serviced Offices Fareham initially & then Southampton | £32,500–£35,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5pm Great with people? Confident with sales? Our client, an established serviced office provider, is looking for a Centre Manager who can combine outstanding face-to-face customer service with a confident, commercial approach. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the centre, supporting one team member and creating a professional, welcoming environment where businesses want to work. A varied role with plenty of opportunity to make your mark You'll be a key point of contact for clients, getting to know their businesses, anticipating their needs and resolving queries with care and confidence. You'll also conduct sales viewings, helping prospective clients picture their business in the space, explaining the options available and following up to turn interest into signed agreements. Alongside the client-facing activity, you'll keep the centre running smoothly—balancing service, sales, administration and facilities without losing sight of the details. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationships. Conducting engaging office viewings and confidently securing new business. Managing and supporting one direct report. Coordinating maintenance and keeping the building and facilities presented to a high standard. Ensuring the centre meets health and safety requirements. Managing client onboarding, renewals, billing and accurate records. Supporting occupancy growth and recognising opportunities to improve centre performance. What will you bring? You'll be someone who enjoys meeting people, takes pride in delivering excellent service and feels comfortable having a sales conversation. You'll know how to listen, understand what a client needs and help them choose the right solution. An estate agency background would be particularly relevant , especially if you're experienced in property viewings, following up enquiries and converting interest into sales or lettings. Experience in serviced offices, hospitality, retail or another role combining personal service with sales could also be a strong fit. You'll need excellent organisation, commercial awareness and the ability to multitask. Just as importantly, you'll be willing to take ownership—whether that means supporting your colleague, resolving a maintenance issue or making sure an office is ready for its next viewing.
