An established and well-respected law firm in Christchurch is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join its friendly Property team. If you enjoy the pace of conveyancing and want to work somewhere you're valued, this could be the one.
The RoleYou'll provide first-class secretarial and administrative support to the property fee earners, working on a varied mix of residential and commercial transactions. You'll be a key part of the team, helping to keep files moving and clients happy.
Typing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and reports (audio and copy typing)Supporting residential and commercial property matters from instruction through to completionPreparing and processing documents, including Land Registry applications and SDLT formsManaging diaries, post, emails and telephone enquiriesOpening, maintaining and closing files accuratelyLiaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitorsSupporting AML and compliance proceduresAbout YouPrevious experience as a Legal Secretary, with a good working knowledge of both residential and commercial propertyConfident with legal terminology, procedures and document productionExcellent typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detailExperience of a legal case management systemA confident, professional telephone mannerWell organised and able to juggle priorities and deadlinesA positive, team-minded approachWhat's on OfferSalary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experienceA friendly, supportive team and a settled working environmentConvenient Christchurch location[Holiday entitlement / pension / free parking / early finish Fridays - add any that apply]Genuine long-term career stability
