Job Overview
We are currently working with a local removals company who are looking for a Trainee/Deputy Branch Manager for their Southampton branch.
This is a brand new role and will allow the successful candidate progression to a branch manager in the future.
As a Trainee/Deputy Branch Manager, you will support the effective day-to-day running of a branch, developing your management and leadership capabilities while helping the team deliver excellent customer service and meet objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with removal crews and planning vehicles schedules.
- Supporting the Branch Manager with daily operations, team management and the organisation of branch priorities.
- Supervising and guiding colleagues, communicate expectations clearly, and help coordinate work to maintain a welcoming, well-run branch.
Requirements:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a removals or logistics company.
- Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to support colleagues, handle coordination tasks.
- Previous experience of dealing with removals or logistics crews and planning vehicle schedules.
