The Role

Reporting directly to the Quality Director, you will own the testing strategy and quality outcomes for 2–3 squads within a product domain. You are the direct manager for the testers in your squad and will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, to ensure risk-based quality practices, test readiness, and delivery support. The role will be a combination of both hands-on and Leadership & Strategy.

Job Requirements

• Quality leadership experience within cross-functional teams IE (Engineering, PO, Release Mngt).
• People management and mentoring experience
• Excellent communication, planning, and prioritisation skills
• 3 years hands on test automation experience
• Proven track record in regression, end-end and integration testing
• Full Stack Test Engineering experience from testing Back-end (API\’s) – Front-End (UI)

Job Responsibilities

• Own quality outcomes end-to-end for 2-3 Squads
• Acts as a go-to testing/quality person for the Squads\’ product scope
• Manage and mentor manual and automation testers in your squads
• Lead squad-level quality planning, risk analysis, and test execution oversight based both on leadership skills and hands on experience on the products
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on release readiness and validation
• Represent quality in team ceremonies and planning sessions
• Partner with Chapter Leads to apply best practices and grow tester capabilities
